COCD Successfully Organizes Annual Staff Reflection Workshop 2025
From 26–28 November 2025, COCD held its Annual Staff Reflection Workshop in Siem Reap province, bringing together 25 dedicated staff members from across Kampot, Pursat, Battambang, and Phnom Penh. The workshop created an engaging and collaborative space for staff to share key achievements, lessons learned, and successful program models from the past year.
Throughout the three-day workshop, teams highlighted impactful initiatives, including the Early Childhood Development (ECD) good practices in Kampot and the Livelihood improvement model in Pursat, both of which have brought meaningful change to vulnerable families and communities.
To strengthen organizational capacity, staff also participated in a Safeguarding session to enhance their understanding and commitment to safe practices in all communities COCD serves. In addition, the Financial Procedure Guidance was presented to ensure stronger, more accountable implementation in 2026.
Key Achievements in 2025
Through its programs, COCD directly supported:
• 2,942 adults, with strong female participation (over 77% women)
• 1,449 children, including 57% girls
Indirectly, COCD’s work also reached 2,862 additional children through community-based initiatives and support mechanisms.
COCD extends its gratitude to all staff, partners, and community members for their continued dedication and collaboration. Together, we remain committed to improving children’s well-being, empowering communities, and strengthening safe, inclusive environments for all.

Celebrating Academic Excellence Among Vulnerable Students!
COCD, in partnership with Holt International, proudly presented certificates of recognition and awards to 45 outstanding scholarship students (31 girls) who achieved top rankings — from 1st to 5th place — in the 2024–2025 school year across schools in Chhuk District, Kampot Province.
This initiative not only honors their hard work and dedication but also inspires other vulnerable children—especially girls—to stay in school and strive for excellence. Through the continued support of Holt International, COCD remains committed to promoting access to quality education and building brighter futures for children in rural Cambodia.
COCD successfully organized a two-day Learning Session & Experience Sharing on Child Safeguarding on 18–19 November 2025 in Phnom Penh, with facilitation from Plan International Cambodia and financial support from Terre des Hommes Germany. Representatives from our partner organizations—SSO, CFS, VCAO, CWCC, YCC, and KCD—actively participated. Safer and more protective environments for children and program participants within partner organizations. COCD remains committed to working with all partners to ensure that every child is safe, respected, and protected.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT — TOGETHER WE CAN HELP MORE FAMILIES
COCD would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has kindly donated to support our Emergency Food Pack Campaign for 10 vulnerable families in Kampot and Pursat provinces.
Thanks to your generosity, we have raised 250 USD and have already provided food packs (50 USD each) to 5 families — 3 families in Kampot and 2 families in Pursat.
